Island Time!
February 2022 The Caribbean islands. The next one is as beautiful as the last one… I recently needed a break from the frigid New York City winter so I decided to book a few weeks in the Caribbean, island hopping. I visited Saint Croix, Saint Thomas, and Puerto Rico. My first time at all three. In the past I’ve visited the Dominican Republic (several times) as well as Barbados, Aruba and the Bahamas. So I was psyched to check out these three islands I had never been to. I flew from NYC to St. Croix, connecting in Miami. I stayed at a super cute historical hotel in Christiansted and explored the island for 7 days. St. Croix is very laid back and the vibe was chill. It’s not as touristy as St. Thomas. It’s actually what you want if you want to unwind and relax. I then took a 2-hour ferry over to St. Thomas, where the vibe shouted tourist holiday!
